After implementation of the learning web Network for the first pilot group of students, the ADA Tech learning web Network will gradually become a valuable part of the local school system's life. All local disabled students will be members of the Network and will learn, using ADA Tech digital learning library. Teachers who work with disabled students will also be able to use the library and contribute to it.
2. ADA Technology is planning to expand and duplicate the learning network for other groups of students and in other communities
The project's outcome, an innovative unique learning web network for collecting, organizing, and distributing learning material in the digital forms accessible for severely disabled students, will be patented and marketed state and nation-wide as an effective solution for educational institutions to accommodate their severely disabled students' educational needs.
- The demand is huge
- Severely disabled students can not use computers and learn online at most educational institutions as they do not have a solution for enabling them to do so.
- The market is unfulfilled
- There is no stable and affordable system for the distribution of learning materials in digital form accessible for severely disabled students on the market. As a result, there is a lack of learning materials and courses that the severely disabled can use.
- Current solutions are expensive
- They can cost hundreds of thousands of dollars in hardware/ software, licenses, and intellectual workforce.
- ADA Technology can bring affordable and effective solutions by using
- innovative systems to collect and distribute learning material and data that can dramatically increase the ability of the severely disabled to access and use learning materials and enhance their learning experience, and
- new technologies and web standards that switch from sophisticated, fully-loaded, and expensive personal wheel-chair attachable computers to low-powered client terminals or other electronic devices, and therefore, simplify the life of disabled users and cut the cost of software, hardware, and maintenance.
3. As a long-term community endeavor, ADA Tech Students Connect project has great potential to become financially independent in 3-5 years by getting money from
- Contributions by grant-makers and donors. The organization has a list of prospective donors, which have direct interest in supporting charitable projects for disabled students and show interest in ADA Tech Students Connect (see donor's list)
- Creative combinations of new online and traditional off-line fund-raising, and
- Charitable business activities such as network membership and licenses fees, technological consulting and training
